About
St Augustine Back Doctor Dr. Foster Cullum. Dr. Foster Cullum is a board-certified Chiropractic Physician and recent medical school graduate. He has been in the healthcare profession for 31 years. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa, in October 1992 with BS and DC degrees. He then realized as a Chiropractor he was only treating 8-10% of the population and witnessed multiple patients over-medicated on addictive pain medication. He then decided to further his education and attended the University of Science, Arts and Technology (USAT), and graduated in December 2018 with his MD/MBBS and Masters’ degrees. Additionally, he is passionate about helping patients avoid surgery if at all possible.
Originally from Toledo, Ohio where he had at one point three Chiropractic practices and loves helping people naturally; he and his family decided the sunshine in Florida was where they wanted to be. He and his wife, Sheila, and two children now reside in the Ponte Vedra, Florida area and are blessed to be here.
Being a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, the Fountainhead of Chiropractic which was where it all began in 1895 in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Cullum learned multiple techniques while attending school there and even more after graduating. His techniques include Palmer package, Diversified, Toggle, Flexion Distraction, Gonstead, Thompson, Activator, Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), Webster Technique, Extremity adjusting and even Equine Chiropractic where he was certified by Options for Animals. He also has extensive training Whiplash and Spinal Trauma and in pediatrics and nutrition. He also earned a scholarship for Rugby and played for Palmer the entire time out in Iowa and learned multiple on-field taping and treatment techniques. He then played for the Palmer Olde Boys Rugby Club after graduating and donated back to the college for the Rugby program.
Dr. Cullum was Voted the Beaches Favorite Chiropractor/Doctor in 2004-2007 (Beaches Leader/Ponte Vedra Leader) and loved being around athletes and helping them heal naturally without the use of drugs and surgery. He was the Team Chiropractic Physician for Nease High School (2004-2007) and Tim Tebow was the starting QB at that time (2004-2006). He also was the Chiropractor for the Caddies at the TPC Sawgrass at that time and enjoyed donating his time with them. He enjoys triathlons and competed in several races and has treated multiple athletes in various different sports with great success.
He has decided to team up with the amazing director of AMAZING SPINE CARE in Jacksonville, FL, Dr. Alan Khiger, DC and the new location at World Golf Village will be the 6th office for Amazing Spine Care.
