Dr. Joseph A. Amunategui II, D.C., has been a dedicated Chiropractic Physician in Hallandale Beach since December 1993, continuing the family legacy in the same practice his father established in 1973. Known for his commitment to the community, Dr. Amunategui has been involved in numerous civic organizations, charities, and sporting events. His contributions to healthcare, education, and local causes earned him the distinguished honor of having January 19, 2008, proclaimed as "Dr. Joseph Amunategui II Day" by the City of Hallandale Beach.
Dr. Amunategui holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life College School of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia, where he graduated with clinical excellence. His certifications include National Board Certification in Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, and X-ray Theory and Practice, among others.
In addition to his chiropractic expertise, Dr. Amunategui has served in leadership roles for organizations such as the Kiwanis Club, Hallandale Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Police Athletic League. He has also been a respected speaker and lecturer, contributing to chiropractic education and continuing his advocacy for health and wellness.
He has recently merged his practice with Amazing Spine Care and is excited to be part of the team, continuing to offer exceptional care to the community he has served for decades. A proud father of four, Dr. Amunategui remains an influential figure, exemplified by his numerous awards and recognitions, including "International Sports Chiropractor of the Year" in 2016 which was presented on stage by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Columbus, Ohio.
