Activator Methods®

We use the low force chiropractic technique.

First step: Patient Evaluation

We analyze each patient to gauge their spine movement. Our team will test how easily and freely you can bend, turn and twist your body. They will also assess the length of your legs. For this, you will be required to lie face down. This simple, effective procedure can show significant differences in leg lengths as well as the existence of subluxations and their location. Moreover, it helps us understand when to adjust and when not to adjust.

The activator instrument refers to a handheld device that delivers precise force at just the right angle.

The Adjusting Instrument

The Activator Methods® Adjusting Instrument delivers a precise thrust. Since the handheld device is quicker and more effective than adjustments delivered by hand, the human body rarely tightens to resist. Therefore, the instrument helps make adjustments comfortable, effective and painless. In addition, it’s also used to adjust elbows, knees, wrists and other joints of the body.

The Follow Up

After adjustment, our team will perform retesting to ensure the desired changes have been produced. This helps us deliver superior quality, optimal patient care and satisfaction.

Developed by Dr. J. Clay Thompson, the Thompson Technique is a significant method. It has now evolved into an analysis method as well as a way of adjusting the spine.

A System of Analysis

Earlier, chiropractors observed that subluxations produced the appearance of a short or contracted leg. They used a protocol of comparing leg lengths, while patients turned their heads. This helped determine the position of the subluxation in the back.

Once a patient is lowered to a prone position, the amount of energy required to adjust their spine is reduced.

Terminal Point Table

Most patients tend to notice our segmental “drop” table. Once they step onto the platform, the drop table lowers them into a horizontal position. As a result, they can preserve leg length inequality.

Individual cushions, also known as drop pieces, are placed along our table surface. They support patient spine, until the delivery of thrust. Thereafter, each drop piece gives way, thereby minimizing the amount of energy needed to move a specific spinal segment.

Popular and Patented

Dr. Thompson was provided a patent in 1955 due to the success of this unique approach. It has since been used all over the world.

Your body’s tone is reflected in the tightness of your spinal cord. Our team is especially interested in this.

Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) is a chiropractic technique designed to normalize the relationship between the pelvis and the head.

The Foundation

The pelvis protects the spine’s integrity and the function of the nervous system. The foundation is subjected to the pull of gravity. It affects the entire body when stability is lost.

The Cranium

The skull bones and tension on spinal cord affects all the body cells and tissues. Your spinal cord is like a string on a harp. Is it flexible or tight?

Blocking the Spine

Our team uses wedge-shaped devices called blocks to correct spine and tune a patient’s nervous system. Knowing where to position these blocks, our team uses the weight of a patient’s body to make corrections naturally.

Safe and Comfortable

When a patient uses gravity and their own body, the result is a healthy, strong spine. Coupled with safe, effective, consistent results, SOT also delivers patient comfort.

Applied Kinesiology

Mental, chemical and structural imbalances can occur due to lack of health care. Using muscle testing as a guide for patient diagnosis and care, Applied Kinesiology borrows from several different disciplines.

The ancient Chinese believed that every muscle in the body is connected to a specific organ, gland or acupuncture meridian. Muscle testing offers an insight into the condition of that particular issue tissue or organ.

Muscle testing can reveal an individual’s structural, chemical and mental issues. In addition, it can direct them to the best possible options for restoring their health.

Finding the Problem

First off, our team studies a patient’s health history. Thereafter, they offer a thorough physical examination, which may include instrumentation and laboratory tests.
Next step is to analyze a patient’s posture as well as the way they walk. We observe how they turn and bend. Along with muscle testing, these findings help us develop a unique insight into the cause(s) of your health issue.

• Joint manipulation
• Acupuncture and meridian therapy
• Dietary supplements
• Cranial Osteopathic
• Muscle rehabilitation and recovery

Applied Kinesiology is a broad discipline and includes the evaluation of vascular, lymphatic systems and cerebrospinal fluid circulation.

Diversified Technique

A pisiform contact is a hand arrangement. It delivers a specific thrust at a specific place and at the right time. Our team uses an adjusting style, also known as the Diversified Technique.

The technique involves an in-depth analysis of a patient’s spine. In addition, our team may review their medical history and spine X-ray images. Thereafter, patients may be required to visit us for motion palpation. During the visits, a chiropractor may check a patient’s spinal joint movement or their legs for identifying any issues in their neck or spine.

A manual trust may be required for addressing malpositioning of spinal bones.

The direction, dept, speed and angle used will depend on practice, experience as well as a comprehension of spinal mechanics.

You may hear a popping sound due to the movement of fluids and gas in the joint. It’s imperative to understand that this should not be a guide to the success of the adjustment.

Improving the biomechanics of the spine can alleviate the interferences in the nervous system. But, all body joints can be adjusted to restore normal movements.

Bio Cranial Technique

Not many people know that the skull comprises 22 bones. And all of these bones move.

As per conventional knowledge, the skull is a solid structure that protects the brain. But, all 22 bones in your skull move with a rhythmic pulsing.

The Bio Cranial Technique helps unlock this connection.

Compensation Reactions

During birth, a person’s skull bones may get injured. Apart from rhythmic pulsing, a distortion can develop along the spinal column after the discovery of the distorted pattern. This can lead to a wide range of health issues.

The Physiology

Sutures – the pulsating movements along the joints of the skull bones – can be felt with the fingertips. Certain restrictions may interfere with the circulation of cerebrospinal fluid. The cerebrospinal fluid absorbs shocks in the brain tissues.

Our team can detect the root cause of several health conditions by detecting abnormalities, especially those associated with the jaw and other head parts.

Patients who have had traditional chiropractic care have noticed considerable improvement in their subluxations after undergoing the Bio Cranial technique.

Free movement of the bones of the skull allows the body to work better.
